Good morning! Why eat cereal when you could have Brie, pears, pecans, and honey baked to perfection? That's right! Here is a vague but helpful recipe on how to put it all together.
What you'll need:
ceramic dish (there's a fancy name, but who remembers what it is)
pears - I like Bosc, but you decide
pecans - chopped
Brie - Enjoy picking out your fave. Cheese is an adventure.
cayenne - I basically add this to everything so get prepared mentally for that
Pre-heat your oven to about 375. Ovens vary in temperature. It's best to let the ingredients simmer in the oven to perfection.
Slice your pears in thin but not too thin slices. If they are too thin you risk them over cooking and sticking to the dish.
Chop your pecans. Different sizes is ideal, so chop absentmindedly but watch your fingers please. I don't want to have to head to your house with my first aid training in hand. No pun intended.
Cut your Brie in small triangles (nibble some along the way!)
Arrange your pears, and Brie in the dish, then gently throw on your pecans. Sprinkle cinnamon, and cayenne. Lastly drizzle that honey.
Place your ceramic dish in the oven and gaze at your beautiful work. What a delicious breakfast you just made! I would allow 10-15min baking time. Maybe more, maybe less. The Brie should be melted slightly, but not melted to the point of becoming overly gooey.
